Abby Frontera

Business Development Manager

Abby Frontera is a Business Development Manager on the Corporate and Foundations Research Alliances team at Innovation Partnerships. She supports faculty and researchers across the University in developing, structuring, and managing research collaborations with foundation sponsors, from initial concept through long-term partnership growth, to advance research impact and commercialization.

Abby holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Hope College and dual master’s degrees in Social Work and Business from the University of Michigan. Her previous experience includes roles as a program manager for foundation partnerships in central OVPR at U-M, project manager at the Center for Academic Innovation within U-M, and as a process improvement engineer at Henry Ford Health.
