Janani Ramaswamy

Director of Medical Device Licensing

Janani works with inventors in the College of Engineering and the School of Medicine to protect and commercialize medical device technologies.

Prior to joining Innovation Partnerships, Janani was a Licensing Associate at Henry Ford Innovations in Detroit, where she managed a portfolio of life science and digital healthcare inventions. Janani was previously also an Innovation Partnerships Fellow at our office, helping with early stage commercialization assessments of our inventions.

Janani received her B.S. in Biotechnology from the Vellore Institute of Technology, India, and her M.S. and Ph.D in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
