Joanna Allen

Software, Mobile, and Digital Licensing Analyst

Joanna works with faculty and researchers across the university to support the development and commercialization of software, mobile, and digital technologies.

Prior to joining Innovation Partnerships at the University of Michigan, Joanna was a research administrator at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She has also held positions in the federal and private sector in patent prosecution, program analysis, and regulatory analysis.

Joanna has an MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University. She is a registered patent agent with the USPTO.
