Aparna Bubna

Associate Director of Licensing

Aparna Bubna is an Associate Director of Licensing and works with faculty and researchers to commercialize medical device technologies developed at University of Michigan. Prior to joining Innovation Partnerships, she worked as a Senior Licensing Officer at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, MI. In this role, Aparna managed a portfolio of life science and medical devices and was responsible for overseeing the patent protection and licensing of technologies.

Aparna holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from University of Delaware and a MS from University of Delhi, India. She is a registered Patent Agent with USPTO.
