2023 Annual Impact Report: Innovation Partnerships Has Record-Breaking FY23

Innovation Partnerships is pleased to present our annual report for Fiscal Year 2023, which contains highlights of our office’s performance as well as stories of impact from across the University of Michigan’s research enterprise.
The University of Michigan had a record-breaking year for research commercialization, with 580 new invention reports created and 311 commercialization agreements executed. Innovation Partnerships also supported the launch of 25 new startup companies – our 2nd highest year to date. Thank you to our incredible faculty for entrusting us with your innovations, and to the many companies, entrepreneurs and investors that partner with our office to move groundbreaking research discoveries to the marketplace.
