Stefan Koehler

Director of Therapeutics Licensing

Stefan Koehler collaborates with faculty and researchers from various areas including the School of Medicine to protect and commercialize intellectual property developed at the University of Michigan.

Prior to joining Innovation Partnerships, Stefan worked in various roles in business development, technology licensing, consulting, and entrepreneurship education in industry and academia including with Epicentre Biotechnologies (acquired by Illumina Corporation), KPMG Transaction Services, and the Entrepreneurship Centers of the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and the University of Munich.

Stefan holds a BS and MS in Molecular Biology with a minor in Patent Law from the University of Munich and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
