Rob fosters and forges opportunities for U-M faculty to partner with industry leaders, facilitating the transformation of their cutting-edge research into commercially viable products that have a positive impact on society.

Prior to joining the Corporate Research Alliances team, Rob co-owned and managed an information strategy and data analytics consultancy firm. This firm catered to industry-leading clients such as PepsiCo, Ford Motor Company, Take-Two Interactive, and Visteon. With 25+ years of experience in technology, operations, and financial leadership roles, Rob brings a wealth of knowledge to Innovation Partnerships. He has held positions in various high-growth companies, including Steelcase, Kraft Foods, and Domino’s Pizza.

Rob earned his M.B.A. from Georgetown University and his B.A. from Hope College. He resides in Ann Arbor, MI with his wife and enjoys exploring our amazing planet with her and their four children, who contribute to making life’s journey a rewarding experience.
