Lunch & Learn: Common Legal Mistakes Early-Stage Startups Make and Tips to Avoid Them

Join us this Thursday, November 14, 11am-12pm, for a conversation with Venture Capitalist Jim Adox, Executive Managing Director of Venture Investors Health Fund, and student-attorneys from the University of Michigan Law School’s Zell Entrepreneurship Clinic. Hear the law students share common legal mistakes made by early-stage startups, along with related anecdotes and war stories from Mr. Adox’s 25 years of investing. Event attendees will gain a better understanding of steps early-stage ventures can take to limit personal liability, protect intellectual property, comply with employment laws and avoid messy future disputes.
