Emily Bowers

Industry Relations Manager

Prior to joining Innovation Partnerships as a full-time life sciences Fellow, Emily worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Dr. Durga Singer’s lab at the University of Michigan. She studied obesity-induced inflammation and its impact on hematopoiesis, with emphasis on neutrophil development and function. While a postdoc, Emily also worked as a part-time Fellow with Innovation Partnerships, helping with the assessment of technologies at beginning stages of commercialization.

Emily holds a PhD in Cell and Developmental Biology from the University of Michigan and a B.S. in Cellular Biology and Molecular Genetics from the University of Maryland.
