Keith Hughes

Associate Director of Licensing, Physical Sciences & Engineering

Keith works with faculty primarily in the College of Engineering to develop and implement intellectual property management and commercialization strategies covering a broad spectrum of disciplines.

Keith gained extensive experience in the field of intellectual property commercialization through leadership positions at both Intellectual Property Commercialization Group, LLC and Ford Global Technologies, the intellectual property management subsidiary of Ford Motor Company.

Keith’s specialties include patent evaluation and prioritization, technology integration, financial and strategic development.

Keith holds a BS in Industrial Education, Eastern Michigan University and an MBA in Finance from Wayne State University.
