Michael Brandt

Associate Director, Business Development, Life Sciences

Michael focuses on connecting U-M faculty with industry partners, investors, and entrepreneurs through sponsored research collaborations to accelerate the development of promising research.

Prior to joining CRA, he focused on drug discovery and early clinical development for Wyeth and Johnson & Johnson with a focus on neuroscience and central nervous system disorders. In addition, he has experience in medical communications within numerous therapeutic areas. Together, he has over 23 years of pharma and medical education experience.

Michael earned his PhD in pharmacology from Louisiana State University Medical School and holds a BS in psychology from Hope College. He completed his postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School / McLean Hospital.
