Tiefei Dong

Director of Therapeutic Partnerships

Tiefei works with faculty and researchers primarily in the life science field to protect and commercialize intellectual property developed at the University of Michigan. Tiefei has more than 15 years of experience in technology commercialization and research collaboration with industry.

Prior to joining the University of Michigan, Tiefei worked as a licensing associate managing technology and intellectual property in biomedical sciences at the Office of Technology Transfer at University of Rochester Medical Center. In addition to his research experience from his academic background, Tiefei has sales and marketing experience from his previous work at the Johnson & Johnson Beijing office.

Tiefei received his B.S. in Cell Biology from Peking University, his Ph.D. in Pathology from University of Rochester, and a MBA from University of Rochester.
