Entrepreneurs Engage!
6/10/2016
On June 29, U-M Innovation Partnerships, along with Ann Arbor SPARK, will host an “unConference” bringing together leading entrepreneurs and investors to discuss ways to improve our region’s startup ecosystem. The discussions will be determined, per the unConference format, by the participants themselves at the beginning of the event. Past topics have included; talent attraction, improving access to capital, programs to link Detroit and Ann Arbor, increasing entrepreneurial opportunities for women, and more.
“We are excited to have another opportunity to bring together representatives from our ever growing entrepreneurial community,” said Ken Nisbet, associate vice-president of U-M Innovation Partnerships. “Since its inception, the Engage series has become a very important annual event, providing a forum for entrepreneurs and investors to enhance our region’t growth capacity.”
The hosts of this year’s Entrepreneurs Engage are Larry Freed (2nd Stage Partners), Julia Owens (Millendo Therapeutics), and Rich Sheridan (Menlo Innovations). Support for Entrepreneurs Engage is being provided by PNC Bank.
While the event is invitation-only, those interested are encouraged to apply online.
