Innovation Partnerships Welcomes Sarah Jameson as New Associate Director of Ventures

Innovation Partnerships is pleased to announce Sarah Jameson as the new Associate Director of Ventures. 

Associate Director of Ventures, Life Sciences Sarah Jameson

Appointed following a national search, Jameson will oversee the University of Michigan’s life science startup activities. She will also serve on the Accelerate Blue Fund investment team, participating in funding decisions and catalyzing the success of its portfolio companies.

Jameson is a highly experienced professional with a background in both venture capital and the life sciences. She spent the past three years as a Senior Associate at Arboretum Ventures, where she was responsible for evaluating potential investments and providing support to portfolio companies. Prior to her time at Arboretum Ventures, Jameson spent eight years working in cardiac medical devices at Johnson & Johnson, Sorin and Boston Scientific. In these roles, she provided clinical and technical support for cardiac medical device procedures, sales and clinical trials. Jameson is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering.
