Outstanding Service Award 2019

Drew Bennett, Associate Director of Licensing, Software, Mobile and Digital Technologies, is the inaugural recipient of U-M Innovation Partnerships’s Jessica Soulliere Outstanding Service Award. This award is named for our colleague, Jessica Soulliere, who was a trusted and valued colleague with an exceptional work ethic and a strong commitment to providing exceptional service. The committee’s selection of Drew was unanimous, as he embodies these qualities and makes Innovation Partnerships a more joyous place to work.

Drew’s colleagues and inventors also recognize the incredible positivity with which he approaches his work, the outstanding service he provides his inventors, and the fact that he is leading our office’s charge to do outreach to colleges and departments that have historically not engaged with our office.

At the award reception, inventors who have directly benefited from Drew’s expertise, influence, and support shared their stories of working with him.

It is an honor to work with a team every day that includes people like Drew, who are truly dedicated to providing phenomenal inventor-centered customer service.
