The U-M Innovation Partnerships National Advisory Board (NAB) celebrated its 15 year anniversary with a dinner and meeting on May 9th and 10th. The NAB is composed of leaders from the business, venture, university and local communities and provides advice and network contacts to enhance the effectiveness of our tech transfer function. At the dinner, NAB members, past and present, celebrated the many accomplishments over the years, which included playing major roles in the founding of Ann Arbor SPARK, the Innovation Partnerships Venture Center and Accelerator and the Catalyst Resource Network. Governor Rick Snyder, the founding board chairman in 2002, was on hand to celebrate along with University of Michigan President Mark Schlissel. Vice President for Research Jack Hu thanked the NAB members for their assistance in elevating U-M Innovation Partnerships’s ranking as one of the top ten technology transfer offices in the country.
