Meghan is the Commercialization Program Director for the Michigan Translational Research & Commercialization (MTRAC) for Life Sciences Innovation Hub. The MTRAC for Life Sciences Hub is a statewide program supporting translational research projects in the life sciences with high commercial potential, with the ultimate goal of positively impacting human health. In her role, Meghan is responsible for identifying and recruiting projects from universities across the state, managing the application and award process with the input of the oversight committee, and overseeing and assisting awarded projects to ensure successful outcomes and achievement of milestones.

Meghan brings to the role over 10 years of experience working with early-stage life technologies and startup companies. Prior to joining Innovation Partnerships at the University of Michigan, she worked at U-M Medical School Office of Research’s Fast Forward Medical Innovation (FFMI), managing an innovation and entrepreneurship program for the Frankel Cardiovascular Center. Before joining FFMI, Meghan worked for a number of local life science startups, focusing on market research and customer discovery to inform product development for technologies ranging from tissue diagnostics to wearable devices.

Meghan received her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University and her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from U-M.
