Antonio Lück is a venture investor, entrepreneur, and advisor with over two decades of experience identifying high-potential opportunities, deploying capital, and helping companies commercialize and scale. His career spans venture capital, company building, technology commercialization, governance, and entrepreneurial ecosystem development across the Americas.

Antonio is a Managing Partner at MatterScale Ventures, investing in technology companies across the Americas. Portfolio companies include ISA Saúde, which has delivered more than 500,000 patient services and raised a $30 million Series B led by IFC; KLAY, the first AI music company to secure licensing agreements with Universal, Sony, and Warner and their publishing arms; and General Compute, which raised a $15 million seed round followed by an up-to-$400 million financing to scale its AI inference infrastructure.

Previously, Antonio was the founding Managing Director of Endeavor Detroit, where he launched and led Endeavor’s Michigan operations and supported founders behind companies including Banza, Benzinga, Altruist, Floyd, SkySpecs, and Vectorform. In its first three years, the portfolio grew to 23 entrepreneurs across 13 companies, collectively generating $112 million in annual revenue, raising $70 million in capital, and creating nearly 800 jobs, with companies and founders going on to significant financings, national expansion, and exits, including Benzinga’s $300 million acquisition.

Earlier, as Director of Business Acceleration, Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Venture Capital at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), Antonio directed Michigan’s early-stage financial programs and led the team managing more than $170 million in investments and grants. The portfolio included Accuri Cytometers, ProNAi Therapeutics, Critical Signal Technologies, Rubicon Genomics, RetroSense Therapeutics, Livio, Algal Scientific, and Vestaron, which went on to major financings and exits, including acquisitions by Becton Dickinson, Best Buy, Takara Bio, Allergan, Ford, and GSK.

Beyond investing, Antonio is an active entrepreneur and company builder. He is a Founding Board Member of OperOS AI, an enterprise AI company helping organizations operationalize AI at scale, and the founder and developer behind The Congregation Detroit and The Rectory, two adaptive-reuse projects that transformed historic properties into community-focused hospitality businesses in Detroit.

Born in Brazil, Antonio trained as an engineer at Universidade Federal do Paraná, earned a law degree from Faculdades Curitiba, and earned his MBA from Wayne State University after moving to Detroit in 2006 on scholarship. His multidisciplinary background across engineering, law, business, investing, and entrepreneurship shapes his approach to evaluating opportunities, solving complex problems, and helping entrepreneurs turn ambitious ideas into scalable businesses.

Antonio is happiest when playing with his son Odin and wife Amy, traveling with his family, in the outdoors, reading, and doing anything related to fishing. His other greatest joy is partnering with entrepreneurs to find solutions to seemingly impossible challenges.
