Bryce Pilz, executive director of licensing and strategic alliances, has been named the recipient of the 2022 OVPR Exceptional Service Award from the Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR). This award is among the 10 research staff recognition awards presented annually to staff members in recognition of their research and scholarship effort at the University of Michigan.

EVOQ Therapeutics Announces a License and Collaboration Agreement with Amgen

EVOQ Therapeutics today announced a license and collaboration agreement with Amgen for the discovery and development of novel drugs for autoimmune disorders. Under the terms of the agreement, Amgen and EVOQ will collaborate on preclinical development and Amgen will be responsible for clinical development and commercialization.

U-M Professor Alison Narayan Named Novartis Institute for Biomedical Research (NIBR) Global Scholar

After U-M was selected to participate in the prestigious Novartis Institute for Biomedical Research (NIBR) Global Scholars Program, FY21 saw Innovation Partnerships work with faculty to submit over 40 proposals. U-M professor Alison Narayan was became an inaugural winner of the highly competitive award. The NIBR Global Scholars Program selected only six researchers globally as awardees from more than 700 proposals across 38 institutions.
