Alexi Pierce

Communications Manager

Alexi is the Communications Manager for Innovation Partnerships at the University of Michigan. In this role, Alexi amplifies and communicates the important research taking place at U-M and the impact it has globally upon commercialization. 

She is responsible for strategically communicating about the work of Innovation Partnerships to critical internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, Alexi is charged with content creation across channels, developing leadership communications and event coordination. Before joining Innovation Partnerships, Alexi was a Vice President at GCI Health, a global integrated healthcare communications agency, and was previously Manager of Public Affairs at Friends of Cancer Research based in Washington, D.C.

Alexi received her M.A. in Global Communication from The George Washington University, and her B.A. in Journalism from Indiana University – Bloomington.
