Helen Xiao

Life Sciences Fellow

Helen Xiao is currently a Life Sciences Licensing Fellow, where she supports technology evaluation, competitive landscape analyses, and identification of potential industry partners of biomedical innovations.

Helen holds a Ph.D. in Animal and Poultry Sciences from Virginia Tech and completed her postdoctoral training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Mayo Clinic. She has completed formal trainings in patent law and innovation commercialization, and gained hands-on technology transfer experience as a volunteer with the Technology Transfer Office at Boston College, where she conducted prior art searches and supported commercialization strategy.
