Jim is a veteran executive of six startups in multiple industries, including medical diagnostics and software organizations. His experience spans fund raising support, customer focused business and operating plan development, startup formation, company growth management, and regulatory navigation.

In his most recent endeavor, as co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Armune BioScience, Inc., Jim participated in corporate startup and strategy decisions and established a CLIA R&D and commercial facility that supported the development, sale, and processing of prostate cancer diagnostic tests. Armune was acquired by Exact Sciences Corp. (Nasdaq: EXAS) in 2017. Previously, as president of Biomedical Diagnostics, Jim formed and organized the company and implemented full R&D operations and CLIA commercial services to support a breast cancer risk assessment assay.

Jim was operations executive at grapeVINE Technologies, a startup knowledge management software company that was acquired by Netscape/SUN Microsystems in 1999. He enjoyed a 19-year senior management and executive career at Comshare, an Ann Arbor based software company that sold financial and personnel management software and services to Fortune 500 customers. He is also the founder and president of Quality Results Management Services, a business management consulting firm that offers interim CEO and other advisory services, and helps clients, especially startups, focus on customers and quality management methods. Jim holds a BSEE from The Pennsylvania State University.
