Maggie identifies and cultivates opportunities for U-M faculty to partner with industry. To create those opportunities, Maggie takes a faculty-centric approach to identify, to develop, and to execute sponsored, and non-sponsored, research partnerships. Maggie counsels faculty on existing research partnerships, and assists faculty in structuring new research relationships. Maggie also supports the structuring of major research centers, such as NSF Engineering Research Centers and Industry-University Research Centers.
Prior to joining Innovation Partnerships, Maggie worked as a Project Representative in the Office of Research and Sponsored Projects focusing on data sharing and privacy. Maggie was also previously an attorney in private practice, most recently in the areas of business law and litigation strategy consulting.
Maggie holds a BA from the University of Michigan and a JD from Wayne State University, where she was awarded the Dean’s Merit Scholarship and Silver Key Award.
