Prior to joining Innovation Partnerships, he spent over a decade in the Boston area working on intellectual property and corporate development teams to establish IP portfolios underpinning multiple venture backed biopharmaceutical startups. Surin is a registered patent agent and received his PhD from The Massachusetts Institute of Technology and BA from Cornell University.
Born and raised in Ann Arbor, Surin is thrilled to serve Michigan’s innovation ecosystem. Outside of work he enjoys running, delving into personal finance topics, and reading non-fiction books.
