John Corthell

Senior Industry Relations Manager, Group Lead

As a Licensing Associate, John supports faculty and U-M research by working on incoming and outgoing Material Transfer Agreements.

Prior to joining Innovation Partnerships at the University of Michigan, John helped manage teaching laboratories for the U-M LSA Chemistry department, was a professional editor, and was a post-doctoral fellow in the U-M Department of Pharmacology. John has also served as the president of the miLEAD Consulting Group, a nonprofit management consulting firm that specializes in supporting life science startups.

John received his B.S. in Biological Science and Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Florida State University.
